Let's see I have so much to say that I don't know where to start...lol.  I guess I will start by bragging...lol.  I have been named Designer of the Month over at Pretty Scrappy!!!  Whooo-Hooo!  Yeah for me! 

Secondly, My CT Kelly did a couple of more LOs for me!!!  Thank you Kelly!
The first one was done with my License to Drive Kit.

The second one was done with my Honor Your Parents Kit.

American Cancer Society

My brother in law has stage 4 prostate cancer.  He was told that there was nothing they could do for him.  He did his research and found some alternative radiation therapy at a place called VCI in LA.  He has been receiving treatments there since January I believe and is seeing lots of progress.  He is a very positive person and is very determined that he will beat the cancer.  The American Cancer Society has been a huge help to Mike and his wife, Diane.  They have helped with out with several resources and even connected him up with Angel Flights, which flies him home every other weekend or so.
The American Cancer Society is having a Relay for Life, which my sister in law, Diane and Mike's daughter, Abby is participating in.  Here is the info on it:

"Can you believe that more than 1.3 million new cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in the United States this year? Those are staggering statistics, but there is hope. Each of us can do something to save lives and help those already fighting this disease. That's why I've decided to take action against cancer by supporting the American Cancer Society Relay For Life® event right here in my community.

Relay For Life is an overnight event that brings our community together to help support the American Cancer Society and its lifesaving mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. The Society works hard every day to prevent cancer and save lives by supporting groundbreaking research, affecting public policies that protect us from cancer, and educating people on how to prevent or detect cancer early. The Society helps people with cancer right here in our own community. And our efforts at Relay For Life can help the American Cancer Society to keep working toward a cancer-free future.

I want to invite you to show your support in the ongoing fight against cancer by joining us for this year's event. Template Freebie & CT Openings

WOW - We have had rain like I have never ever seen before!  We have over 30 miles of one of our interstate highways completely flooded out. Several towns are completely flooded over, damns are at risk for breaking and failing.  About an hour from me, a Lake overflowed and emptied itself out, creating a new river along it's route, washing out a section of a highway, and emptying itself into the Wisconsin River.  On it's new route, it washed 4 houses completely down the river, as I am sure that many of you have seen on the news since it made national news.  Two other houses broke in half and one half floated down the river.  These families not only do not have homes to live in, they lost everything including their pictures, their house, their lot that their house was on and are only left with a mortgage with 23 years left to pay.  If you haven't seen that yet, check it out:   RAW VIDEO: Homes Washed Away At Lake Delton.  Please pray for all those in the midwest who are affected by flooding.  I feel so lucky, here was our street last weekend:

I feel so lucky as our water receded within hours, and we only had a minimal amount of water seeping into our basement compared to what others have.
